Katanu Kay Sanna

Katanu Kay Sanna, based in Nairobi, Kenya, has been immersed in art since the age of 5. She began selling her creations during high school at the monthly art shows held at the Dusit D2 Hotel, organized by Charles Morito. Taking a gap year before university to explore the art industry and connect with fellow artists, Katanu later pursued studies in motion media design at SCAD University for 1 1/2 years. Renowned for merging oil on canvas art with vibrant Kitenge fabric and venturing into digital paintings, Katanu’s unique style has garnered widespread recognition. Alongside her fine art pursuits, Katanu has also been involved in several creative feats, including graphic design, art curation, and mural art.
