Frequently Asked Questions
How can I track my order?
Tracking your RABA order is super simple. Our orders are processed and shipped every Wednesday. Place your order before Tuesday 18:00 CET, and it’ll be included in that week’s shipment. Once it’s on its way, you’ll get an email with a tracking link (look out for an email from EPC; that’s us!). If you don’t hear from us within six days, reach out—we’re happy to help!
Can I still change my order?
Changed your mind? No problem. You can adjust your order anytime before the first Tuesday 18:00 CET after placing it—just let us know!
I didn’t receive an order confirmation. What should I do?
No stress! If your order confirmation hasn’t shown up within 24 hours, check your spam or junk folder—it might be hiding there. Still no luck? Drop us a message at support, and we’ll make sure everything’s sorted.
Do you ship worldwide?
Not yet! At the moment, RABA delivers to countries within the EU. Kenya will be our next stop, and we’re working hard to expand globally. Want to stay updated on our launches? Subscribe to our newsletter for the latest news.
I live in Kenya; can I place an order?
Though we haven’t officially launched in Kenya, we can still find a way to get your order to you. Contact our support team with your request, and we’ll assist.
My package says delivered, but I didn’t receive it. What do I do?
Sometimes packages end up at a pickup point, with a neighbour, or in a safe spot if no one’s home. Check for a delivery note or contact your local carrier for more details. If you’re still having trouble, let us know—we’ll help track it down.
What do I do if my order is delayed?
First, check your tracking link for updates—sometimes delays happen due to weather or busy shipping periods. If you need more information, reach out to us, and we’ll investigate.
How does RABA pack the products?
We’re serious about keeping your art safe! Prints are carefully rolled and wrapped in protective paper before being shipped in sturdy tubes. Framed prints and frames are packed in durable boxes with air cushioning to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
My product arrived damaged; what should I do?
We got you! If your product is damaged, email us at info@raba.art within 48 hours with clear photos of the damage. We’ll send you a replacement right away—at no extra cost.
How do I return my order?
We’re happy to help with returns! Here’s how it works:
- Email us within 7 days of receiving your order at info@raba.art to request a return.
- Send it back within 30 days, ensuring it’s in its original, unused condition. As we don’t use plastic wrapping, signs of use or damage will void the return.
- Repackage carefully in the original packaging and send it to:
RABA Art, Archimedesbaan 19, 3439 ME Nieuwegein, Netherlands.
Please note that Returns are at the customer’s expense.
My order is incomplete; what do I do?
If items are missing, they might have been shipped separately. Check your tracking information for updates. If you’ve received all packages but are still missing items, contact us with your order number and photos of what you received. We’ll sort it out right away.
My order is incorrect; what should I do?
We’re so sorry for the mix-up! Email us with your order number and photos of the incorrect items. We’ll send the correct ones as quickly as possible.
I’m an African artist. How can I sell my work on RABA?
We’re always on the lookout for new talent from across Africa! Email your portfolio to erinah@raba.art. Our curating team will review it and see if there’s an opportunity to collaborate.
I’d like to collaborate with RABA. How can I get in touch?
Have an idea or partnership in mind? Whether you’re a business owner, creative, or dreamer, we’d love to hear from you! Reach out to us at info@raba.art.
Where are RABA’s frames sourced from?
Our frames are currently sourced from Europe. However, we’re working with a skilled woodworker in Nairobi to create handmade frames for our Kenyan launch. Our goal? To make African-made frames available worldwide, sustainably and beautifully.
Where are RABA’s posters printed?
We work with professional printers where we operate. Right now, we print in Nieuwegein, Netherlands, and Nairobi, Kenya, ensuring efficient local deliveries in the EU and Kenya.
How do you avoid cultural appropriation?
Our founding and directive team consists of three women: two from the Netherlands (who have been living in East Africa since 2017) and one from Kenya. We merely wish to offer our skills in marketing, branding, and platform building to create something that will benefit both artists and buyers. We build this platform with the purpose of African artists telling their own story, representing the Mother Continent worldwide. The two Dutch co-founders are mainly building quietly in the background.
Why African Art?
A comprehensive, user-friendly and visually appealing platform that delivers an order right to your doorstep, has the potential to bridge the existing gap between African artists and buyers (with all types of budgets). The world is already familiar with Western or Scandinavian design. Now it’s time for Africa to represent itself and tell it’s own story. For artist to dismantle stereotypes and showcase the diversity in their talent and creations. And for the world to enjoy this, also on a lower budget.
