Artistic Statement
“My work explores the fragmented connection between ancestry, identity and urban life. Working with painting and digital media, I explore how traces of cultural memory endure in modern life, even when stories have been lost or fragmented. My art invites a dialogue between absence and presence, growth and resilience, past and becoming. Inspired by nature, intuition and the evolving rhythms of city life, my work seeks to create spaces where echoes of the past and the energy of the present meet, transform and renew.
I work with bold color deliberately, using it as a tool to express energy, memory and the subtle yet very present emotions within these themes. My practice is evolving and experimental, as I continue to explore new materials and ways to express the ongoing conversation between tradition and modernity.”
